The Thomas Rod Co. Shop
Located near the historic Penobscot River, just a short walk from the shop’s original location, the Thomas Rod Co. began making hand crafted bamboo fishing rods here in Brewer, Maine over a century ago. Thomas rods have been known the world over as the finest fishing instruments money could buy.
We still are committed to creating a fishing rod that will be a joy to own and cast. Since reopening the shop, we continue to work to create bamboo rods that Fred and Leon would be proud to call Thomas rods.
Rods with strict attention to detail in design, craftsmanship and finish. A fishing rod to keep and pass on to future generations of fishermen.
