Here is one of the highly sought after F.E. Thomas Brown Tone Special Streamer rods.
This one is a 9′ 3/2 rod for a 6/7 line, weighs 6 1/8oz and was made in 1942.
This rod has one tip that is 6 1/2″ short, otherwise the rest of the rod is full length.
Being a Brown Tone rod, this has nicely flamed sections, and blued ferrules and butt cap. The rod also features a Half Wells grip which is soiled from use, but the cork is in good shape.
The rod has had a few guide wraps redone over the years, and has three clear protective wraps. One on the mid, and one on each tip.
This one is on the lighter end for the 9′ Streamer rods, and this powerful rod casts wonderfully with a 6 or 7 line.
