Here is a beautiful Thomas Rod Co. 8 1/2′ Special grade, 4wt 3pc 2tip, 4 1/4oz. bamboo fly rod.
This rod was made a few years ago, and has been very lightly fished, but remains in excellent condition. Glossy varnish is excellent with no chips. A few minor casting cracks in varnish at ferrules that are mearly cosmetic. Light soiling on the grip.
3 piece, 2 tip rod has a classic, light casting medium action that will take you back in time to when life was slower.
Half Wells cork grip flows into a full cork and nickel silver slide band reel seat. The classic F.E. Thomas logo adorns the nickel silver butt cap.
Comes with its original green cloth partitioned bag, and brass capped aluminum tube.
