Vintage F.E. Thomas Dirigo 7 1/2′ 3/2 Trolling rod.
Made in 1948. 3pc, 2 tip rod weighs 6 1/4oz. Has Thomas “trumpet” line guides, and standard stripping guide.
All original and full length. Stripping guide has one wrap that is thing and should be redone. Hook keeper is also missing.
Otherwise this rod is in great original condition and would made a great rod to troll or collect.
Comes with original Thomas tube (missing cap) and original cloth bag. These original 1 5/8″ tubes were made by Peerless and a replacement cap should be able to be found online, etc.. Peerless made tubes for many, many rod manufacturers over the years.
Very Good Condition.
