Vintage S.E. Bogdan Model 0 salmon reel with spare spool. Set up for Right hand wind.
This is a very rarely seen variation of the model 0 in that it has a fully ventilated face and back plate.
Every other model 0 I have seen has a sold face and back plate, so this was very likely a custom order that Stan made and may be the only other one in existance.
This 2:1 Mulitplying reel has a 3 1/4″ reel diameter with a 1 3/8″ spool width.
Reel has some rash on the bottom, and a few scratches from honest use, but still in excellent condition, and ready to fish.
Designed for a 9wt line and 150 yds of backing, but having a spare spool provides a great deal of flexability to also have a 8wt or 10wt line set up for another rod.
Comes with a SE Bogdan marked 50th Anniversary leather bag.
