Here’s one that falls under the category of “rarer than hen’s teeth”.

A vintage 1949 Thomas Brown Tone 10′ Dry Fly Salmon rod in a 2 piece configuration!  This rod should cast a 9 wt line a country mile.

This amazing 2pc, 2 tip rod is all full length and straight.  Weighs 7 1/8oz.

The rod has a beefy Full Wells grip and uplocking walnut seat with a serial numbered 5″ removeable fighting butt and serial numbered end plug too.

English twist snakes and stripper are all original and double-wrapped.

This rod comes with the original tan canvas bag and brass capped aluminum tip tube, which also has a two pocket tip bag inside.

This is the only 10′ 2pc Thomas I have seen in the almost 40 years I have been doing this.

You’d be hard pressed to find a finer Atlantic Salmon or Steelhead rod then this one!
