Description
Here is a very rarely seen Thomas Mahogany rod. This 8 1/2′ 3/2 rod has one tip being 2″ short, otherwise all sections are full length and straight.
Rod features dark stained Mahogany cane with Brown silk wraps, and an Agate stripping guide. Ferrules are oxidized to a gunmetal finish.
Thomas style cigar grip is in nice shape. Hardy style locking seat with black ebonite spacer. “35” stamped on nickel silver buttcap.
All guides wraps are original with english twist snakes. The stripping guide will need a rewrap at some point, but is stable for now.
Comes with original bag and the original tube, which is a seldom seen black enamel over aluminum tube.
Mahogany rods come around very seldom. This rod would make a great addition to any collection.
